Asbury Park Press

The Asbury Park Press is a daily newspaper in Monmouth and Ocean counties of New Jersey and has the third largest circulation in the state. Its investigative staff, led by editor Paul D'Ambrosio, has been awarded numerous national honors in journalism, including the Selden Ring Award for Investigative Reporting, two the Associated Press Managing Editors' Award for Public Service, the National Headliner Award for Public Service and two National Headliner Awards for Best Series. The Press' investigative team was a finalist for the 2010 Pulitzer Prize in Public Service. The newspaper also had the honor of being the home to editorial cartoonist Steve Breen when he won the Pulitzer Prize in that category in 1998. Gannett purchased the paper in 1997. The current publisher is Thomas M. Donovan and the editor of the Park Press is Hollis R. Towns. The Headquarters are located at 30601 Highway 66 Neptune, New Jersey 07754. The paper circulates and average of 107,443 daily and 157,154 on Sundays.

Atlantic City Press

The Atlantic City Press is the fourth largest daily newspaper. It is the primary newspaper in for southeastern New Jersey and the New Jersey Shore. The paper has a daily circulation of 70,000 and a Sunday circulation of 85,000. The newspaper features local, regional, and state news. It also features some national and international news as well. The Atlantic City Press was founded in 1895 as the Daily Press by Walter Edge, in 1928 Abarta Inc., the current owner, bought the paper and changed the name. Since then, Abarta Inc. has changed the name three more times until it reached its current name of The Press of Atlantic City. The Press of Atlantic City published various other products including At the Shore (a weekly entertainment magazine), Real Estate Monthly, Health, Indulge, Summer Fun, and many more that are inserted into their papers. They also publish Press Extra and Sunday Saver if you would like these inserts. The current publisher is Keith L. Dawn and the current editor is Neill Borowski.

The Courier-Post is a morning daily newspaper that serves South Jersey near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While based in Cherry Hill Township, New Jersey, it serves most of Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties. The Courier-Post is the fourth largest paper in New Jersey. Naturally, there is competitors. The Courier-Post's main competitors are The Philadelphia Inquirer across the Delaware River in Pennsylvania, and the Burlington County Times and Gloucester County Times in South Jersey. The Courier-Post was established in 1875, the Post moved to Camden in 1879. It merged with The Telegram in 1899 to become The Post & Telegram. In 1926, The Post & Telegram and the Camden Courier consolidated, and the merged paper was bought by the Gannett newspaper chain in 1959.
